This is a plain-language template provided for transparency during early access. Please have it reviewed by legal counsel before relying on it for a commercial launch.

Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Cobay Sprints (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Accounts. You are responsible for your account, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your organization. One Cobay login works across the Cobay suite (CRM, Desk, Sprints).

Acceptable use. Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or other tenants’ data, no reselling without authorization, and no automated abuse.

Subscriptions & billing. Paid plans are billed in INR, exclusive of applicable GST, via Razorpay. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice. During early access, organizations may remain on the free plan. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Your data & IP. You retain ownership of the content you put into the Service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and operate the Service for you. We claim no ownership of your projects, issues, or comments.

Availability. We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding three months.

Termination. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at the registered office of Cobay Technology Private Limited have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

What we collect. Account details (name, email), the content you create (workspaces, projects, issues, comments), and basic usage/operational logs needed to run and secure the Service.

How we use it. To provide and improve the Service, secure tenants, send transactional notifications, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.

Where it’s stored. Data is hosted on managed infrastructure in India (Supabase, Mumbai / ap-south-1) with tenant isolation enforced at the application layer and row-level security enabled on every table.

Subprocessors. We use Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (optional AI features you trigger), and Razorpay (payments). Each processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the Service. AI requests are sent only when you invoke an AI feature.

Your rights. You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — contact us and we’ll action verified requests within a reasonable time.

Cookies. We use only essential cookies for authentication and your active-organization selection. We don’t use advertising trackers.

Retention. We keep your data while your account is active and for a limited period afterward, then delete or anonymize it unless law requires otherwise.
